The 2006+ civic is just... ugh. Looks excellent from the back, but the relationship between the stubby little hood/nose and the windscreen is just AWFUL. They almost blend together and make the car a giant semicircle with wheels, which is a pity because everything behind the front wheels is sexy as hell

I wouldn't call the rear sexy as hell but I agree otherwise

Really? I always thought the 2006+ was better looking than the 2005.

I’m the opposite. I don’t like the rear end of the two door at all. I like the flat/slightly concave rear of the four door. Disclaimer: I owned an ‘09 Civic and just bought a ‘15, so I’m biased.

I really don’t like any Civic.......... period. But, yeah, the 2006+ models definitely look worse.

I think the 06-11 Civics are the best looking FWD things since the 2nd gen Eclipse. A little bulky but other wise great looking.

I highly prefer the 06+ over the 00-05. 00-05 was so much vanilla. I just Googled it to confirm and fell asleep looking at pictures.

I don’t even like the majority of cars post 2005. I agree with you though, my friend had an 07 Civic EX and well... it’s like a pug. You either love it because of how ugly it is or you hate it because how ugly it is.

I can’t stand this generation of Civic. They look like a computer mouse on wheels. When people say that modern cars are apologetic blobs, this is EXACTLY what they’re talking about.

Who cares if it looks like a semicircle on wheels. The cab-forward design is key to its efficiency and practicality. I think they're a lot better looking than the previous generation.
A pal of mine has a 2006 EX that he has been daily driving the hell out of for a few years. It has no issue hauling several hundred lbs of solid metal in the trunk (anvil and other assorted blacksmithing tools). Nothing has reall broken on it. It's just a simple commuters car that gets good mileage.

I do, obviously. Because I made this post, which is entirely about the fact that it looks like shit. I don’t care how functional it is, it’s fugly, which is what I was complaining about.

I don’t really like any made after 2000.

Sales figures state otherwise. Circles look nice. Semicircles look half as nice. Civic is half priced car. My logic is geometrically correct.
